Issue/Introduction

Smart Connect 2.0 experiencing issues authenticating on Microsoft Edge/IE 11 when using CSP on-lan in upstream mode on Windows 10.

Cause

Localhost restrictions on Microsoft Edge

Resolution

In order to prevent authentication issues on Windows 10 while using smart connect 2.0 in upstream mode to a locally hosted client site proxy server,  please use "127.0.0.1" instead of "localhost" as the loopback address.  We have observed that when using "localhost'  Microsoft Edge runs into authentication issues.
