Issue/Introduction

One particular application may be failing to download or launch on one particular computer.

The MgrLog files show the following messages:

ERROR  [7108] FSDProxy,FSDProxy::FSDCommunicator::updateApplicationPackageIdentifier#368| Failed to update package identifier, error: 0xe000100b

WARN   [7108] SVSInterface,SvsManagement::SvsManager::getLayer#1846| Unable to map AppGuid to FSL guid for package

ERROR  [14464] Management,Management::Session::run#503| Failed initializing app info.  Session handle: 9, error: 103

INFO   [14464] Management,Management::Session::sessionErrorHandler#1463| Error handler reached for session 9, error: "Error Code 10036 : Application initialization failed. Please try accessing the application again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.".  Closing session.

Cause

There is a corrupt file or registry key from the problem application that is remaining on the computer from a previous launch attempt.

Resolution

Uninstall the Workspace Streaming and Virtualization agents to remove any corrupted files, then reinstall the agents.
