Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to GSS 3.1 from GSS 3.0 or DS 6.9 SP6 the password protection on the client is not able to be modified and after the upgrade the old password is not working. 

"Invalid Password" is given when you enter your password on a client machine when trying to open the Dagent properties or running the DagentConfig.exe file.

Cause

This issue has been identified and an update to GSS 3.1 MP2 has been released to correct this problem.

There is a known issue that the client password can't be changed from the server.  See TECH235099 for more information on agent settings not being applied by the server.
