Issue/Introduction

After upgrading from CMS (Client Management Suite) 7.6 HF7 (Hot Fix) to 8.0 observed that when you try to resize any columns in a task, the SMP (Symantec Management Platform) console will throw an error.
The issue happens when you try to resize the description or start time columns etc.... 


Note: We found that if you are logged into the SMP as the service ID (AppID) you can resize them with no issue but if you login as user that is a Symantec admin it
still causes the issue. If you login as any other user besides the service ID (AppID), the issue will replicate.

Cause

Known issue. Possible corruption on "UserSettings" table.
 

Environment

Upgrade from 7.6 HF7 to 8.0

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in 8.0 HF2 - See release notes for more information DOC9343

A workaround is available. Please run the following query and reopen the SMP Console with the desired account:
