"Server Error in '/ProcessManager' Application" error occurs when trying to log into ServiceDesk or navigating pages

Server Error in '/ProcessManager' Application

Cause

Connection with SQL server failing. In some cases, there is even no change in database connection password. Connection was somehow broken (not working with the saved credentials).

Resolution

Verify the database connection, following the below steps:

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Symantec > Workflow >Designer > Tool > Workflow Explorer
  2. In Workflow Explorer, go to SymQ Configuration
  3. Go to SymQ_Local_Defaults section in the left pane
  4. Select local.workflowsqlexchange
  5. Click Edit button and then click eclipse in the end of the SQL Connection String.
  6. Click on Test connection and confirm it succeeds or update the credentials then test and save.
