Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to disconnect to new Database Manaegment Utility Process Server (UPM) Service.

Resolution

Since r19 of Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS the new Utility Process Manager (UPM) is a design and function of a new subtask service
running under Xmanager. The service is initially intended to perform services to utilities and support a new –DISPLAY CA UPM command that will return
the status of the UPM. This may include information on attached utilities and Db2 subsystems

The UPM operates as a subtask of the Xmanager address space. Normally when there are no services being used, this subtask is in a wait state.
There is no method to disable or disconnect the UPM.
