Issue/Introduction

Need to move the client or license from one computer to another the Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition cloud (SEP SBE cloud).

Resolution

To reclaim your license:

  1. Log into the SEP SBE cloud management console
  2. Navigate to the Computers tab
  3. Click the name of the computer that you want to remove
  4. Click Delete Computer on the Computer Profile page

Once you have reclaimed the license simply install the client on the new machine.

Note: Sometimes it can take a short time for the license to become available again in the portal, if the problem persists for more than four hours contact support for further assistance.
