Issue/Introduction

Not all documents provided for indexing with Indexed Document Matching are used in the profile creation.

Cause

When providing a .zip archive, which includes a set of documents for a Indexed Document Matching profile, issues may occur in the accuracy of data if the archive has been tampered with.  For example, if the archive was originally in a different format (such as .7z) and was manually converted (through file extension modification) into a .zip archive, the integrity of file compression may be compromised.

Resolution

The following steps should ensure file integrity if files are presented to Indexed Document Matching in a archive type other than .zip:

1. Extract all items from the archive.  Ensure that the directory of extraction has enough capacity for the full uncompressed archive.
2. Compress the extracted documents into a standard .zip format.
