Issue/Introduction

Every several minutes errors like this can be seen in /var/symantec/Logs/debug.log on Endpoint Protection for Linux (SEPFL) machines with no User interface.

Cause

SAVTRAY is the component responsible for SEPFL client user interface.

Resolution

Since this Linux OS has no UI smcIPCMAnager fails to call SAVTRAY, as soon as you enable the Graphical Interface for OS this error should disappear.

This error in the debug log is only cosmetic. There is no impact on the Client functionality.
