SMG-SP (Symantec Messaging Gateway for Service Providers) mailwall user's home directory is not properly updated in /etc/passwd from "sbas" to "smg-sp"

Issue/Introduction

After update from SMF6.3 to SMG-SP10.5, mailwall home dir is not updated in /etc/passwd.

Resolution

SMG-SP 10.6 addressed to this issue.

Workaround

With SMG-SP 10.5, do as follows. Note that if you chose some other location at installation, you should replace that path to your own install location.

  # usermod -d /opt/symantec/smg-sp/Scanner -m mailwall
