Issue/Introduction

DLP Endpoint Agent install fails during local install.

Product: AgentInstall64 -- Vontu Custom Action | Error Invalid UninstallPasswordKey.

PROPERTY CHANGE: Adding VALIDATION_ERROR_TEXT property. Its value is 'Invalid UninstallPasswordKey.'.

Vontu Custom Action | Error Invalid UninstallPasswordKey.

CustomAction ValidateInputParameters returned actual error code 1602 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)

MainEngineThread is returning 1602

Cause

The uninstall password is invalid, therefore the package is invalid.

Resolution

1. Create a new uninstall password for the version of agent being installed.
2. Create a new Agent Install package with the new uninstall password.
