This error message is due to the request or reply header being larger than 20 KB. Request or reply headers are usually relatively small (about 512 bytes). The Client Site Proxy, squid ver. 2.7 request or reply headers are are set to 20KB by default.

To adjust the default size of the request and reply headers in the squid.conf, you will need to add the following lines under "acl HEAD Method HEAD" in the ACLs section of C:\ClientSiteProxy\etc\squid.conf file.

# TAG: Header Maximum Size
request_header_max_size 64 KB
reply_header_max_size 64 KB

After you have completed the configuration changes, make sure you restart the Client Site Proxy service for the changes to take effect.
