Issue/Introduction

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1 has been removed as a supported platform from Symantec Drive Encryption for Linux in the 10.3.2 MP11 Maintenance Pack release. The download option for the Symantec Encryption Desktop client for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1 is no longer available from Symantec Encryption Management Server 3.3.2 MP11.

All other supported Linux versions are still available for download from Symantec Encryption Management Server.

Resolution

If you plan to use Symantec Drive Encryption for Linux on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1, do not use the 10.3.2 MP11 Maintenance Pack.

Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and customer satisfaction. This issue is under consideration to be addressed in a future version or Maintenance Pack of the product.
Be sure to refer to this document periodically, as any changes to the status of the issue will be listed here.
