The time of Symantec Messaging Gateway (SMG) based in Turkey and set to use NTP servers would be not correct from the 25th of October until the 8th of November.
Turkish Daylight Saving Time date has changed from 25th October to 8th November 2015.
The Turkish government has delayed the Daylight Saving Time (DST) end date. New date is the 8th of November instead of the 25th of October. The change applies only for 2015.
Turkey will end Daylight Saving Time (DST) two weeks later than normal. Clocks will be turned back one hour from 4:00 (4 am) to 3:00 (3 am) local time on Sunday, November 8, 2015.
DST ends in Turkey on November 8, 2015. Normally the DST schedule in Turkey is synchronized with the DST change in Europe. Most European countries will switch back to standard time on October 25, 2015.
Set the SMG time manually at anytime before the 25th of October. After the 8th of November the SMG time can be configured to use NTP servers again.
