Workaround: Review one of the following methods to resolve this issue:
- Allow for the NS.Package Refresh to update the distribution points on regular schedule in the Server Manager > Task Scheduler Library.
- Work through the following:
- Go to the Console > Manage > Organizational Views and Groups > Default > All Resources > Package; select Software Package, and search for 'Software Update' in the upper-right corner of the right pane, and highlight the 'Windows x64 Software Update Plug-in Package' > Right-click > Update Distribution Points:

- (Optional: Clients are managed by Site/Package Server) RDP to the Site/Package Server; open the Altiris Agent GUI > Update Configuration, for that will update the distribution points on the Package Server and ready for Client download.
- Note: This process will happen on the scheduled reoccurrence for Update Configuration as targeted to the Clients.
- Go to the Console > Settings > All Settings > Agents/Plug-ins > Software > Patch Management; and select the Software Update Plug-in Upgrade policy, and configure the settings to turn On, Target clients needed, run By schedule (Add schedule; Run daily on repeated schedule if desired) and Save Changes:

- RDP to the Client, open the Altiris Agent GUI > Update Configuration, for this will receive the changes made by the scheduled policy to upgrade the Patch Plug-in and receive the updated snapshot for the Software Update Plug-in Package.
- Note: This process will happen on the scheduled reoccurrence for Update Configuration as targeted to the Clients.
