Issue/Introduction
Currently it is not possible to authenticate at Symantec Drive Encryption's Pre-Boot authentication screen using the HP ElitePad 1000 G2 virtual keyboard. This is a formal request to add virtual keyboard support at the BootGuard Pre-Boot authentication for HP ElitePad 1000 G2.
Resolution
Attached keyboards are still fully supported on these systems and only virtual keyboards are not currently supported for this hardware.
Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product.
