Operations Director Unable to Register with Unified Management Console due to Invalid Username or Password

Issue/Introduction

You are unable to register Operations Director with Unified Management Console despite providing the proper username and password.

Resolution

If you have a special character such as $, !, @, #, %, etc., you will need to add an escape into the password during registration.

For example:
Your password is: [email protected]!
Using the registration string, you would make your password look like this: Sym\@\antec\!\

This should allow the registration to process and connect to Unified Management Console. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact support.
