Issue/Introduction

Every time I use the SMP/E Environments - Maintenance - 'Show Maintenance' function for any CSM managed product,
I am encountering the following message :

INFO (http-22120-9#getCsiDetail) 2017-10-09 11:16:08,535 (BufferedMessageReader.java:209):
A new message was read and enqueued in the message log: MMR0100W - An SMP/E error occurred:
GIM32000W NO ENTRIES MATCHING THE SPECIFIED CRITERIA WERE FOUND at CAGIMAPI.extraction.library

When I close the error window, it does appear that all maintenance is being displayed.

Why do I have MMR0100W warning messages under SMP/E environment?

Environment

CSM 6.0 - z/OS supported releases.

Resolution

In fact, there is no need to worry about these messages:

MMR0100W - An SMP/E error occurred:
GIM32000W NO ENTRIES MATCHING THE SPECIFIED CRITERIA WERE FOUND.

They will not cause any problem, CSM simply asked for particular data from a CSI and SMP/E's GIMAPI messages

that there is no data to return.

The severity of MMR0100 reflects severity of the SMP/E message.

Basically the MMR0100W wrap around SMP/E messages, the full message text will contain messages
produced by SMP/E.

GIM32000W messages are issued when CSM runs a CSI query which yields no results.

Depending on the CSIs that the MSM manages, this can happen more or less often and is an expected condition.
