Issue/Introduction

When using Symantec Endpoint Encryption Removable Media Encryption 11.0.1 hf1 with a client package setting of "do not allow user to uninstall the product", if the endpoint is an offline client(will never communicate to the management server) their is no option/ability to uninstall the product without having Symantec Endpoint Encryption Drive Encryption installed. Your organization's policy does not allow Removable Media Encryption to be uninstalled

Resolution

Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers.  This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product.

Technical Support filed a Feature Request to add this product feature. Note that a feature request is exactly that, a request. There is no committed date for this request from the Symantec Encryption Server Product Management team, nor from the Symantec Encryption Server Engineering team at this time.
