Issue/Introduction

You are facing an OS load failure after the restore of a Ghost disk image  that contained a FAT16 partition. When the machine is rebooted the following error "Error loading operating system" is seen.
Or "Operating System Not Found" or "Missing operating system"  will be displayed depending on if the image came form a OS loaded with BIOS settings rather than UEFI settings.

Cause

Gdisk has created a wrong cluster size  and the restored partitions are no longer aligned with MBR/GPT partitioning information.

Resolution

This issue is currently under investigation.
