Issue/Introduction
PGPNetshare.exe command line utility fails to (re-)encrypt File Share encrypted folders when using Group Keys that are located on the Encryption Management Server.
This applies to Symantec Encryption Desktop version 10.3.2 MP5 and above.
Error: Unexpected error occurred [-11297]
File Share Encryption Command Line has stopped working
Resolution
Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This issue is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version or Maintenance Pack of the product. Please be sure to refer back to this document periodically as any changes to the status of the issue will be reflected here.
Workaround: Only the pgpnetshare command line utility is affected, the User Interface may be used to encrypt or re-encrypt File Share encrypted folders.
