Issue/Introduction

There is a need to know if similar functionality as 10.5.3 option "Disable support for SSLv3 and earlier protocols in all SMTP TLS conversations" can be implemented in earlier versions of the appliance. There is a need to disable support for SSL2 and SSL3 protocols without upgrading SMG software.
 

Resolution

It's not possible to disable SSL2/SSL3 protocols on earlier versions of Symantec Messaging Gateway. Please contact Symantec Support to discuss details of other options available.
