Cannot access the Data Center Security Web Console

Issue/Introduction

You try to access the Web Console:

https://[DCS server name or ip address]:8081/sdcss

and either get an http error or a time out.

Cause

The Web Console was removed in DCS 6.5

Resolution

Work-Around:

Install the DCS console on any remote computers that need access to the DCS server.
