Issue/Introduction

Installing IBM TDSE (Transparent Dataset Encryption).

 Will Easytrieve support the use of TDSE? 

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

The Easytrieve product does not use IBM's TDS capabilities.

Therefore, no reported problems and no compatibility issues, but no functionality built into the Easytrieve product as well to take advantage of the Transparent Dataset Encryption functionality.
