Issue/Introduction

Unable to Install Autologon Utility MSI Package on SEE serverless environment.

Symantec Endpoint Encryption Autologon cannot be Installed on SEE serverless environment.

If enabling verbose debug MSIEXEC functionality, the following logging applies:

Action start 14:32:03: EA_ErrServerlessGEFR.
Symantec Endpoint Encryption Autologon cannot be installed on SEE serverless environment.
MSI (c) (BC:20) [14:32:06:317]: Product: Symantec Endpoint Encryption Autologon -- Symantec Endpoint Encryption Autologon cannot be installed on SEE serverless environment.

Also, if double-clicking the Autologon installer on SEEMS, the following error appears:

"Symantec Endpoint Encryption Autologon cannot be installed on SEE serverless environment"

Resolution

Symantec Endpoint Encryption 11 does not support the Autologon Utility in SEE serverless environment.  That is, upon installing Symantec Endpoint Encryption Management Server, and unchecking the box "Use SEE Server", the clients will not communicate to the server created by this install.

A Feature Request has been logged to support this functionality, but is currently not supported.
