Issue/Introduction

The SCU 2015-1 contains the following data sources added to the Windows platform:
■ Event log (Application)
■ Event log (System)
■ Event log (Security)

Help content for advance scope detail page of the data sources is not available with SCU

 

Resolution

Seps to be followed in order to get the help content for event log data sources is as follows:
1. Backup the folder "CCSSYMHELP” available at the following location:
<CCS installation drive>\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symhelp\Content\EN_US
2. Extract the contents of Symhelp.zip file and replace the content at following location:
<CCS installation drive>\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symhelp\Content\EN_US
The zip file contains a folder “CCSSYMHELP” with help related files.
