Issue/Introduction

Symantec Virtual Composer may crash intermittently when activating layers.

Event ID 1000 with exception code: 0xc0000005 is logged to the Windows Application Log.

Cause

A null pointer was dereferenced when a layer was being activated.

Resolution

Upgrade to Symantec Virtual Composer 7.5 SP1 HF4
