CA Culprit is the CA IDMS report generator.
CA Culprit is a batch utility used to generate files, print reports, retrieve data with SQL and create data tables from conventional and database files. You can print these reports or write them to conventional files.
A few of the things that CULPRIT can do easily include:
? Produce automatically formatted or customized printed reports.
? Produce detailed or summary reports.
? Produce up to 100 reports in a single CA Culprit run.
? Produce reports on standard or special forms.
? Write reports to conventional files on cards, tape, or disk.
? Produce nonprint output in any format. (for example, packed decimal)
? Read, create, update, and store data tables
