Symantec management agent pull install fails with error "windows cannot find 'C:\Windows\system32\AltirisAgentInstSvc.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again"
When the URL for the agent pull is entered into the client machine's browser, the normal message is displayed. Then when the link for the agent download is clicked, the error is displayed in a dialogue box immediately.
Windows Cannot find 'C:\Windows\System32\AltirisAgentInstSvc.exe'. Make sure you typed name correctly, then try again.
Unknown. This was only seen in 7.5 SP1 Issue not reported in later minor or major versions.
Navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 on the client machine
Delete AeXNSBootstrapCtl.dll
Restart the browser and attempt the pull install again.
