Message Audit Logs show some messages as having a blank subject

Issue/Introduction

 Some messages in the Messaging Gateway (SMG) message audit logs (MAL) show a blank subject line in the report listing but hovering the mouse over the field displays the correct subject in the "tool tip" window.

Cause

 This is caused by the presence of special xml characters in the message Subject line that are not being properly escaped in the MAL report view.

Resolution

 This issue will be addressed in the next Messaging Gateway release.
