Extract SSL certificate policy failed to run.

Issue/Introduction

When trying to run extract SSL certificate policy from the NS to Task server/Package server it failed to run.

On the site server event log you see the error message like this.

Cause

This issue occurs if the Client installed on C drive and  the Notification server installed on different drive. System look for the path c:\program files\Notification server\NSCap\Bin if the client agent is installed on C Drive.

Resolution

Either re-install client agent of the drive where Notification server installed or as a workaround temporarily add a path to C:\program files\Altiris to C:\program files\Altiris\Notification Server\NSCap\Bin"  this will resolve the issue remember once extract SSL policy run successfully please remove this path as it will cause issues.

NOTE: Extract SSL certificate policy is no longer used with 8.7
