timestamp=2015-02-19 02:02:30.640 +0000,logname=aclog,level=DEBUG,module=certutils,function=validate_ca_connection,line=299,tenant=mobility,username=administrator,sessionid=fval8vr353gic7o5sbrh3s3ksy3ixmac,url=/appstore/webapi1/devices/test_ca_connection/,msgid=,msg=validate_ca_connection http://localhost/certmgr/Validate.aspx : An error occurred while validating the request. Please check that proper Domain/Hostname is given and that the ADCS service is running.

Cause

Issues with connecting from Default Domain Administrator Account

Resolution

Connection requires an AD user that is not the Default Administrator and a part of the External IDP group in AD that is configured to connect with Mobility Suite.  Then ADCS communicator services must be reinstalled and configured to use the new AD created user.

Applies To

Mobility Suite 5.x
