After a Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 (SEP) client downloads Intrusion Prevention (IPS) content 20150220.001, Internet Explorer repeatedly crashes.

This is a known issue with IPS content dated 20150220.001. This issue is caused by a corrupt file within the IPS content.

Symantec Security Response has released a fixed version of the affected IPS content. The fixed IPS content revision is 20150221.001 or higher.
Please run LiveUpdate on your Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) clients in order to resolve this issue. If your environment uses a Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM), you may alternatively run LiveUpdate on your SEPM. After your SEPM downloads the updated content, it will distribute it to your SEP clients.
