Installation fails if AGENT_INSTALL_MODE is not provided during a silent installation

Issue/Introduction

 During a silent installation of the agent, if you do not provide AGENT_INSTALL_MODE=<val>, the installation fails. 

Resolution

Workaround: 

Ensure that you provide the AGENT_INSTALL_MODE with the appropriate value during silent installation. For example, AGENT_INSTALL_MODE=1 for managed agent, and AGENT_INSTALL_MODE=2 for standalone agent. 

Affected agent operating systems: All Windows operating systems

 

This issue has been resolved in Symantec™ Embedded Security: Critical System Protection release 1.0.1.
