Issue/Introduction

"Query Failed" when viewing SEPM Security Status details. This may occur particularly after upgrading SEPM with embedded database to version 12.1 RU5.

Error in SEPM reporting.log: "Procedure 'SEM_HOMEPAGE_UNMANAGED_DISTINCT_MACHINES' not found"

Cause

Symantec is aware of this issue and is investigating. For some reason, the SEM_HOMEPAGE_UNMANAGED_DISTINCT_MACHINES procedure was dropped from the database procedure table during the upgrade.

Resolution

This article will be updated as new information becomes available. Please contact Symantec Technical support to confirm symptoms against this issue and obtain instructions for manually restoring the missing procedure. Workaround otherwise is to un-/re-install the SEPM.
