Issue/Introduction

Migrating Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2013 default Outlook profile setting does not migrate.

Registry Key fails to migrate.  The actual error can be seen in the PCT migration logs and looks like this:
Failed writing HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1827410546-1358260356-988572150-653462\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Profiles\Outlook to the registry.

Cause

Registry key for Default Profile value fails to migrate.

Resolution

A pointfix has been provided below.  Simply swap out the MS Outlook.a2i file located under C:\Program Files\Altiris\Deployment\PCT\EN for the one listed below.  Make sure to completley remove the old MS Outlook.a2i file from the directory.  Do not just rename it.  Also make a backup of the old file before making any changes.

Applies To

PCT 6.8.1111.0
