BBC video playback issue due to Streaming Media block

Issue/Introduction

We have seen issues with the play back of the videos on the BBC and BBC news website. If a customer blocks the streaming media URL category then these videos will also be blocked even if they are allowing the bbc domain.

Resolution

This is because the videos are bing pulled from a completely different URL owned my Akamai.

The following will need to be added to a specific URL allow rule above the block rule.
