Upon running SyLinkDrop.app on Mac OSX 10.10, you receive an error that the Sylink file could not be replaced:
Fail to replace Sylink file
The operation couldn't be completed.
(CFErrorDomainLaunchd error 4.)
The SyLinkDrop tool that is on the product source under Tools/SyLinkDrop/Mac is not up-to-date and will produce these errors.
But an up-to-date version of the tool is placed on Macintosh clients when SEP is installed.
Run the up-to-date version of the tool from the Symantec folder of the installed SEP client on Macintosh:
\Library\Application Support\Symantec\SMC\tools\SyLinkDrop
