Issue/Introduction

 When adding an email address to the list of probe accounts via the Control Center Spam->Probe Addresses->Add page, addresses are rejected if they are similar to existing probe addresses but have an '_' in place of a '.'. For example, when attempting to enter the following addresses:

[email protected]
[email protected]

The second address will be rejected with an error indicating that it already exists.

A probe account with one or more email addresses already exists: [[email protected]].

Cause

 The control center interface in SMG 10.5.x appears to treat the '_' and '.' characters as the same character when checking for existing probe addresses.

Resolution

 This is a known issue and will be addressed in a future release.
