Issue/Introduction

On SWG8450 hardware, the daemon which monitors system health fails to send alerts when the CPU temperature reaches critical levels.

Resolution

On SWG8450 hardware, the daemon which monitors system health fails to send alerts when the CPU temperature reaches critical levels. The SNMP object for CPU Temperature is also not correctly reporting CPU temperature information. There is no workaround at this time. This issue is specific to hardware model Web Gateway model 8450 Rev 3. This issue does not impact any other version of hardware, or SWG virtual Edition.
