Issue/Introduction

DT005E: User not authorized for access to Detector when creating profiles



When I used option 4 in Detector

"Maintain collect/report profiles"

the following error occurrs 

DT005E: User not authorized for access to Detector  

Also When creating profiles, the same error occurrs 

DT005E: User not authorized for access to Detector

 

What causes this message?

 

Environment

z/os DB2

Resolution

DT003E messages indicates an authorization problem and your ID is not allowed to Create Detector profiles.
