Issue/Introduction

Opened the Patch Remediation Center (PRC), downloaded an older Chrome Bulletin (Example: CHROME-107 - v36.0.1985.143), yet it downloaded the recent package version (Example: CHROME-115 - v38.0.2125.111).

 

Cause

Patch Management Solution relies upon the supported vendor's URL to distribute the Software Update.

The Vendor details that the recent release is the best method to update the software. 

 

Resolution

 Confirmed: Working as designed, for Patch Management Solution retains the reference of old Software Updates provided by the vendor to target for Compliance, and that old Bulletin is available for download in the PRC.
