Issue/Introduction

You want information on the required User Roles required for the LDAP Synchronization Tool (Schemus) to upload data to the Symantec.Cloud Portal

Resolution

The following User Roles need to be granted to a user account to allow the upload to work successfully. It is recommended that the user account used for Schemus only has these roles assigned.

  • Edit configuration -> LDAP User Groups
  • Edit configuration -> Mail Platform
  • View configuration -> LDAP User Groups
  • View configuration -> Mail Platform

IMPORTANT: To have the Schemus account with a password that will never expire, never log into the Email Security.Cloud (ClientNet) portal with this account.
