Time shift + or -1 Hour by dynamic command

Issue/Introduction

Summer and Winter time switch dynamically done by MVS command.

We would like to do a time shift change on the fly using the SET CLOCK command. 

Is there a problem with CA1?

Resolution

There are no problems doing a manual "SET CLOCK= " to move the time ahead or behind 1 hour in regards to the CA 1 product. None at all, with any batch utility or any batch processing. 

 

The ONLY item you might notice is the LDATE/LTIME (last-use date/time) might be lower than the CDATE/CTIME (creation date/time) if you look at a volume record that was being created while the time is changed backward. However, this will NOT affect any CA 1 processing or reporting (it will only look strange).
