LiveUpdate Administrator fails to authenticate to proxy servers during content download

Issue/Introduction

LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) 2.3.3 fails to download content from the public LiveUpdate servers through a proxy sever.

Environment

LUA 2.3.3

Cause

This problem happens when the LUA page is refreshed after entering the proxy password. When this happens, LUA inserts asterisk (*) characters instead of the password.

Resolution
