How to combine plug-in licenses for use with Notification Server

Issue/Introduction

Two batches of licenses cannot be combined. One is installed but comes uninstalled when another batch is added.

 

Cause

Licenses do not combine directly.

Resolution

The end user must combine their license through licensing portal (licensing.symantec.com). Make sure to have the same license owner were the licenses have been registered.

To combine licenses in the Symantec License Portal, follow the directions below:

1.Click View All Licenses
2.Click "View Details" on Altiris product that needs to have a combined license 3.Click Combine Licenses top of screen 4.Select one of the below options

OPTION 1: Download All Licenses
Click the 'Download Now' button to download a zip file of all your registered licenses.

OPTION 2: Download Selected Licenses (Singular or Combined)

> First, select one or more companies
> Second, select a product

Now move license(s) from "Current License Files" to "Generate new license from these files" by using arrows. Use the double arrows in the middle to move all licenses.
