Issue/Introduction

A potential Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (SEP SBE) installation issue may be observed when performing an Install Now from the SEP SBE management console. This issue does not occur when using a SymRedistributable.exe.

Environment

Workstations: Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10

Resolution

Log in to the SEP SBE management console and create a Redistributable package. Attempt to install using the redistributable package. If failure continues to occur, contact support.
