How to change the inbound IP address of the scanner?
To change the Inbound IP address of the scanner.
1. Go to Administration > Configuration
2. Select the Host that you want to modify the IP address
3. Click Ethernet tab > IPv4
4. Modify the Ethernet Interface for inbound mail (IP Address, Netmask, broadcast network)
5. Click Save. Wait until the server settings has been updated.
6. After the IP has been change, in Administration > Configuration, select again the host and delete.
7. Click "Add" button to the scanner. Follow the steps in the wizard and click Finish. You may refer to HOWTO54016.
Once the scanner has been added, ensure that the new IP address is reflecting in the SMTP tab and in the SMTP delivery bindings.
1. Go to Administration > Configuration > Host > SMTP > Inbound tab
2. In "Inbound Mail Settings", check and ensure that the IP address assigned is the new one.
3. Click "Advanced Settings" button and go to "Delivery" tab.
4. Check the SMTP delivery bindings and ensure that the correct IP addresses are configured.

Non-local messages:
Dynamically routed messages:
Messages destined for the Control Center:
If the new IP is not reflecting in the drop down menu of the SMTP Delivery Bindings, do the following to refresh the IP:
1. Go to Administration > Configuration
2. Tick the host and select "Disable" button. This will stop MTA service.
3. Tick the host and select "Enable" button. This will start MTA service.
