Multiple issues may occur:
1.) The following error messages seen upon user registration:
"Update settings failed please contact administrator"
"Register General User failed. Please, contact Administrator."
"Missing Operating system"
--And/or--
2.) Registered User or Client Administrator may not be able to manually decrypt the drive from the Symantec Endpoint Encryption Client Console.
--And/or--
3.) Various uninstallation issues including not being able to uninstall due to decryption, or simply cannot remove SEE Preboot Authentication from hard drive even after reinstalling the operating system. Third party tools for wiping the hard drive may not help.

Symantec Endpoint Encryption v8.2.1 MP12 and/or mp 13 currently does not supported on the "Intel SSD Pro 1500 Series (Opal v1 drive)."
Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This issue is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version or Maintenance Pack of the product. Please be sure to refer back to this document periodically as any changes to the status of the issue will be reflected here.
Symantec Endpoint Encryption Full Disk will work on adding support for the Intel SSD Pro 1500 Series hard drive. Enhancement request #3562354 has been created in order to add support for the hard drive.
