Issue/Introduction

You can test your Web Security antivirus service on the EICAR Web site. 

Resolution

EICAR provides industry recognized test virus files. The EICAR test files can be found on the following webpage: http://www.eicar.org/85-0-Download.html

When you access the EICAR links for testing, ensure that you only test HTTP, unless you have enabled HTTPS traffic scanning.
